PlateMax is a nutrition and workout tracking app. We take your privacy seriously and collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service.
Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier. If you choose to share your email, we store that as well. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password.
Nutrition Data: Meal descriptions, nutritional information, water intake, and dietary goals you enter into the app.
Workout Data: Exercise names, sets, reps, weights, and workout notes you enter into the app.
Photos: If you use the camera feature to log meals, photos are sent to our server for analysis and are not stored permanently.
Your nutrition and workout data is used solely to provide the tracking and insights features of the app. Meal descriptions and photos may be processed by OpenAI's API to extract nutritional information. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Data is also cached locally on your device for offline access. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers.
